Solaire installed an 8 kW system in my home 10 years ago. The first inverter installed had a programming error from the factory. Ever since its replacement was installed a week or so later the system has performed flawlessly for ten years with no maintenance. Edison just paid me another $79 for excess energy generation during the year -- that makes me a happy camper. On a personal note, when originally interviewing potential solar firms I had a mental list of questions for them, for which I already knew the answers. All except Solaire gave at least one wrong answer. Jarrod Fisk, the owner of Solaire, not only answered every question correctly, he provided more information that I didn't know. During the installation of the solar panels, the city inspector, a quietly gruff guy, came by to inspect the job. He commented that my contractor (Jared) really knew what he was doing and was quite impressed with the quality of work. He said he had just come from two other jobs where they had to re-install the panels because they weren't done correctly. He said that was a fairly common experience for him. His parting comment was, "You have a really good contractor here - treat him well." This from an all-business, no-nonsense, rather gruff guy. I would gladly recommend Solaire to anyone considering installing a solar electric system. They know their stuff, do high quality work, and charge a reasonable price -- a good combination.
